Ad-hoc & same-day transport
Same-day urgent delivery in Singapore, with a response time we commit to
Some shipments cannot wait for tomorrow's schedule. A production line is down for a part. A hospital needs a unit today. A customer has moved the deadline. For those jobs, SRM Logistics runs ad-hoc transport across Singapore with three response tiers: 60, 90 and 120 minutes.
Each tier is a commitment, not an estimate. You book directly with our operations team, they confirm the tier and the vehicle, and one of our own drivers is dispatched. No marketplace, no app that matches you with whoever is nearest, no subcontractor you have never met.
Response tiers
The 60 / 90 / 120-minute response tiers
Response time is the time from our operations team confirming your booking to our driver arriving at your collection point. The three tiers let you match urgency to cost:
Urgent 60
Driver at your collection point within 60 minutes of confirmation.
When to use it: Line-down situations, medical equipment needed on site today, a shipment that must make a cut-off.
Urgent 90
Driver at your collection point within 90 minutes of confirmation.
When to use it: Same-day jobs where an hour of lead time is acceptable and a lorry or a specific vehicle is needed.
Urgent 120
Driver at your collection point within 120 minutes of confirmation.
When to use it: Same-day jobs that are important but not critical; multi-stop ad-hoc runs; larger loads that need a 24-ft lorry.
Once collected, the delivery is run direct to its destination. Operations confirms collection and delivery to you as each happens, and the proof of delivery is recorded in our transport management system.
When to use which
Choosing a tier
Use Urgent 60 when the cost of waiting is measured in stopped work or a missed patient appointment. Use Urgent 90 when you need a specific vehicle class and can absorb the extra lead time. Use Urgent 120 for same-day work that is time-sensitive but not critical, or where the load needs a larger lorry and a little planning.
If you are unsure, tell operations what you are moving and when it must arrive. They will recommend the tier that meets the deadline at the lowest cost, and they will tell you plainly if a deadline cannot be met.
Contract customers on a scheduled route can add ad-hoc jobs at their contracted rate. Non-contract customers can book ad-hoc work by phone or email and will be quoted per job.

Coverage
Island-wide coverage
We operate across the whole of Singapore — industrial estates, business parks, hospitals, retail malls, port-adjacent depots and central offices. Response tiers apply island-wide. Where a site has access restrictions, a security registration process or limited receiving hours, tell operations at booking so the driver arrives prepared.
Ad-hoc work is Singapore-local only. We do not run cross-border transport.
Vehicle selection
Van or lorry
Operations selects the vehicle for the job when you book:
Vans
for parcels, cartons, documents and sensitive equipment — fastest to dispatch and able to reach basement bays and tight loading areas.
Box lorries with tailgate
for pallets, bulky cartons and equipment on wheels, especially at sites without a loading dock.
24-ft lorries
for multi-pallet and bulk consolidations that should move in one trip rather than three.
Tell us the dimensions, weight and packaging of what you are sending and whether the collection and delivery points have a dock. We assign the vehicle; you do not have to guess.

Questions
Ad-hoc transport — common questions
What does “60-minute response” actually mean?
It means our driver arrives at your collection point within 60 minutes of operations confirming your booking. It is a commitment we agree with you at booking, not an average. Transit time to the delivery point depends on the destination and is confirmed when the driver is dispatched.
Do I need a contract to book ad-hoc transport?
No. Ad-hoc jobs can be booked by phone or email and quoted per job. Customers with recurring ad-hoc needs benefit from an account with contracted rates and a single monthly invoice.
Can you deliver the same day across the whole of Singapore?
Yes. Our response tiers apply island-wide, from Tuas to Changi. If a site has access restrictions or limited receiving hours, tell operations at booking so the driver can plan for it.
Who will collect my shipment?
An SRM Logistics employee driving an SRM Logistics vehicle. We do not subcontract ad-hoc work, so the person who collects is accountable to us and, through us, to you.
What if the load needs a lorry rather than a van?
Tell operations the dimensions, weight and whether the sites have a loading dock. We assign a tailgate lorry or a 24-ft lorry as needed. Larger vehicles are generally booked on the 90- or 120-minute tier.
How will I know the delivery has been made?
Operations confirms collection and delivery as each happens. Proof of delivery with signature and time is recorded in our transport management system and provided to you.
